It has been 220 days since my last post. I have abandoned SPI trading and have moved on to trading the EUR futures during the early morning hours however trading performance has not changed much. I still battle the same demons that all have their origin in the lack of discipline. Despite my frustrations I refuse to give up.
The primary purpose of returning to this blog today has to do with a paper I am reading written by Ray Dalio titled "Principles" http://www.bwater.com/Uploads/FileManager/Principles/Bridgewater-Associates-Ray-Dalio-Principles.pdf.
I am fairly certain that my lack of progress in trading is rooted in more fundamental life issues, specifically an absence of clear life goals and a plan to achieve them. "Principles" attempts to show the importance of creating and following core principles to achieve life fulfillment. I have just started reading "Principles" but I find myself engrossed and excited at the possibilities. I hope to use this blog as a means for creating MY fundamental principals of life. Let the journey begin.
